PK Hackin'!

Flush down that useless hexadecimal code!

As I am sure my remaining 2 viewers know, I have recently started an Earthbound hack. It is still in the very early stages, So I unfortunately cannot provide screen-shots or anything. But I promise you. It will not disappoint you. I hope.

It will (hopefully) consist of a totally revamped story line, nostalgic sprites, and a view from someone you wouldn't normally expect to see yourself as. I hope to have it finished sometime before March ends, but hacking is a long business, and I have other things to do besides just hacking. Like school work for example. And all of my pre-alpha play testing must be done by myself. But I will persevere. It will be done one day.

Other than that, not much has been going on really. My awesome brother Seanthebond recently got me Pyschonauts for my Steam account, which makes me happy. It is by legendary game maker Tim Schafer! (I think that's how his name is spelled...)

Errm... Look forward to some screen-shots later in the year, probably next month. Well, Ciao for now I guess!

P.S. If this succeeds, maybe I might try Mother 3! Although the graphics in that are like, 5 times better...

P.P.S If you want to try to hack this awesome game go to the PK Hack forums.

Live long and Post!

Despite the odd sounding title, I wish to speak about life. No, not (P.K.) Love, because we aren't (P.S.I) Rockin' out here. (Earthbound references rule) About cheese. The under appreciated milk product has come a long way from it's early days. Now being used in things such as cheese burgers, and Nachos. But the real problem is that it may one day be used as a weapon. with the world slowly degrading into chaos, crime has increased sufficiently. And now even the deaths of our fellows in Haiti are haunting our minds.

So my main point is that, do you really think you can trust anyone today? Remember kids, if a stranger ever offers you candy, say no. You don't know what could happen.
Play safe.

Heh Heh, that was my best impression of those fear-mongers on some news channels. I suppose it looks kind of weird, but whatever.

Apparently Bob over there is doing a "Gaming Week". I don't understand the point of
this. But that is Bob I suppose. Always being unexplainable.

Short post today, eh? Well Whatever. Ciao for Now!

P.S. I will not try to get the Gaia Beam until the last possible second. Because I can, unlike the Sword of Kings. Same with Star Pendant.

Bound for Earth on VC

Recently I have been exploring around all things Earthbound. It made me think. Reggie knows that hundreds of thousands of EB fans want it to be released on the Virtual console. But he still ignores our cries as if we are scum. Implying the words "I hear you, I just don't give a crap!"

We have to live with this unfortunately. Getting our beloved game from illegal sources. While I don't agree with this, it is such a well made game, I really have no choice, or I have to fork over about $300. (not including controller, and SNES) Or more considering on the auctioneer. So it dampens our spirits very much. The legal issues (thanks to Earthbound Central) may provide some answer, but there is a lot of games that borrow music for example, at the end of the game "ActRaiser" for example. The beginning sound familiar? A little like... this? And that isn't the start of it either. That is just one that is very noticeable. So why Reggie? Has the fact that Earthbound has been requested for the Virtual console for about, 5 months (or more, I just know that much for sure) mean nothing to you? Again, the line "I hear you, I just don't give a crap!" is implied again. *sigh* Oh well. Maybe I'll have to do the shadier thing, and inject it into one of my VC games...

But that about covers the dilemma with Nintendo of America. One day Reggie, I swear you will release it. And then make millions of dollars, and wonder why you didn't release it earlier. But until then, this is Forten042 saying: "Ciao for now!"

Oh, and if this gets on EBC, then I say "Fuzzy Pickles" to you. May it always bring back memories...

This song will always bring my joy. And nostalgia.

Who the Heck Wants to Save the World?!

So many things have happened in the last month, that it was hard to chose just one title, but I am fine with this one I suppose. It fits my mood.

Anyway, onto posting. Title first. Recently, I have found one of the worst reviews for Earthbound in the history of mankind. Including below-the-belt-hitting lines like "What a rip-off of the original Sonic the Hedgehog storyline!" and "Chrono Trigger is 1 multimillion times better than sucky old CursedBound." (shudders) I suppose people can have their own opinion, but this; this is madness! (madness? *300 quote*) Earthbound rules! At least according to the people who voted it as Most requested game for like, 6 months I think. And has over 15 cult sites.

My sister has recently become one of the criminals only today's technology could create. A pirate. While I have pirated a small amount (ROM's if they count, and FRAPS) but she has- or at least tried to- pirate over 40 gigabytes of crap. And I mean crap. 7th Heaven season one through five, all the episodes of the new crappy show she is in love with; "Secret Life of an American Teenager" I think is what it is called. Seriously, there are morals for pirates. (At least for me) 1. It cannot be obtained through legal means, or easily through legal means. (like FRAPS, which needed a credit card) 2. you are permitted to only pirate a maximum of 5 gigabytes per day. (Except if it is more, in that case it will take longer, but no pirated until it is done) 3. All who break these rules are susceptible to any form of pirate joke. Such as Blackbeard, Captain Hook, and "Ye be walking the plank tonight *insert pirate name here*!" The Pirate Bay already had had legal issues...

IMM is unfortunately over now. this is very sad. But I did get a bit of publicity from it. So that is good. Maybe by next year IMM will be a meme. That would make things so much easier. But alas, I am afraid tis not so. Oh well. I shall still try my hardest. Ciao for now my friends!

P.S here is the full review for those who want to see it.

P.P.S next time, I really want to try something, so if it doesn't work please ignore the post.
